It is the aim of the BCAM to advance the effective, safe and ethical practice of aesthetic medicine. This is achieved through leadership, provision of information, education, support, professional development and the maintenance of the highest professional standards.
The GMC register doctors to practise medicine in the UK. Their purpose is to protect, promote and maintain the health and safety of the public by ensuring proper standards in the practice of medicine. Dr Rahman maintains full registration with the GMC (GMC Registration: 4213457).
The Primary Care Dermatology Society (PCDS) is the leading Primary Care society for GPs with an enthusiasm for dermatology and skin surgery. The PCDS are affiliated to the British Association of Dermatologists and the Royal College of General Practitioners.
Through research and publishing, the BMA lead debate on key ethical, scientific and public health matters and award grants to encourage individual research in medicine.
The RCGP are the professional membership body and guardian of standards for family doctors in the UK, working to promote excellence in primary healthcare.
The Consulting Rooms have been providing information and advice that patients can trust on surgical and non-surgical cosmetic and beauty treatments for over a decade. Alongside this, they offer a service to help patients find a clinic in the UK or Ireland providing such treatments.
